Flooding is a frequent disaster in Indonesia and has the potential to cause various diseases such as diarrhea, skin diseases, acute respiratory infections (ARI), and dengue fever. Low public awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness after flooding is the main focus of this community service activity. The objective of this activity is to increase public knowledge and awareness regarding post-flood disease prevention through health education and free health check-ups. The method used is a participatory approach with stages of observation, education, discussion, demonstration of making natural biolarvicide from betel leaves, health check-ups, and activity evaluation. The activity was carried out in RT 09, Suka Merindu Village, Bengkulu City, which is a flood-prone area. The results of the activity showed an increase in public knowledge about post-flood diseases and the importance of clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS). The community also actively participated in discussions, hands-on practice, and free health check-ups. In addition, a collective awareness emerged in the community to maintain environmental cleanliness and prevent the development of environmentally-based diseases. Thus, this community service activity successfully supported changes in community behavior towards a healthier, more independent, and more health-conscious environment after flooding.
