This study examines the integration of a Deep Learning-based curriculum with Islamic Religious Education (PAI) values at SMP Negeri 7 Binjai, focusing on its effectiveness, implementation challenges, and impact on students’ learning and character development. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, PAI teachers, and students. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the integration of Deep Learning and PAI values enhances students’ critical thinking, active participation, and ability to connect learning with real-life contexts. It also strengthens religious and moral values, including faith, honesty, discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. However, implementation faces several challenges, particularly limited learning time, differences in teacher readiness, and suboptimal use of technology. The novelty of this study lies in integrating Deep Learning principles with PAI values to simultaneously strengthen academic competence and Islamic character. The study concludes that this approach contributes positively to students’ learning outcomes and moral development.
