This study aims to identify the types of pronunciation errors made by female students at the Ummul Mukminin Islamic Boarding School for Girls when reciting Surah Al-Fatihah, describe the factors contributing to these pronunciation errors, and suggest ways to reduce the occurrence of pronunciation errors. The method used in this study is qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the method of voice recording and listening, which was then written down and recorded so that it was easy to classify. The results of this study are the forms of pronunciation errors in reading the Qur’an among female students in grade X at the Ummul Mukminin Islamic Boarding School for Girls, such as consonant errors in the throat and tongue groups, vowel errors such as vowel omission, vowel substitution, and long and short vowel errors; diphthong errors, and fourthly, double consonant errors. The methods used by the female students to reduce pronunciation errors included improving their learning, recognizing Hijaiyyah letters, repeating readings, and listening to murattal. In addition, teachers provided motivation, honed their memorization skills, and began lessons by reading the Qur’an.
