<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the GEMA Puisi website-based interactive learning media on students’ poetry writing skills in Class XE of SMA Negeri 1 Tayan Hilir. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 34 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through poetry writing tests, student response questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis included normality testing, Paired Sample t-Test, and Effect Size (Cohen’s d). The results indicated that the data were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.068 for the pre-test and 0.061 for the post-test. The hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, with an average improvement of 23.282 points. The effect size value of 2.03 was categorized as large. Student responses increased from 67.00% to 89.35%. Therefore, the GEMA Puisi website was proven effective in improving students’ poetry writing skills, as well as enhancing their learning interest and motivation. These findings demonstrate that interactive, website-based media can provide an engaging experience and support creativity and confidence in writing poetry.]]>
