In the era of the Independent Curriculum, improving the quality of science education is crucial to equip students with critical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and ecological awareness. This study aims to analyze the implementation of quality management of Natural Science (IPA) learning in improving the scientific competence and character of students in Junior High Schools. This study uses a qualitative approach through a multi-case study method at SMPN 3 Baleendah and SMPN 38 Bandung City through participatory observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results show that quality planning focuses on the differentiation of teaching modules that integrate local ecological assets and urban technology, the implementation of student-centered learning using inquiry methods, STEM, and physical and virtual laboratories, evaluation is carried out continuously through formative-diagnostic assessments with digital and personal-based feedback and obstacles such as limited laboratories, the absence of laboratory assistants, the rigidity of BOS funds, and administrative fatigue are resolved through strategic CSR partnerships, committee fundraising, digitalization of practicums, and the activation of Lesson Study. In conclusion, adaptive, collaborative, and evaluation data-based quality management of science learning has proven effective in boosting students' holistic competence.
