This study aims to delve deeper into the literary management of the "Genta Cita" (Love Story Book Movement) and its impact on the character development of early childhood. Genta Cita is an initiative of an institutional manager in collaboration with a literacy community that focuses on the character development of children through storytelling and/or reading storybooks. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study in an institution that implements Genta Cita. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with managers, parents, and children, as well as document analysis. The results show that the Genta Cita literary management includes systematic program planning, creative implementation, and continuous evaluation. This program successfully developed children's characters such as empathy, imagination, responsibility, and socio-emotional abilities. The implication of this research is the importance of the institutional role in supporting children's character education through literacy.
