This study describes the implementation and tests the effectiveness of the Joyful Learning method based on Educaplay and integrated with the Deep Learning approach on the learning motivation and science and social studies (IPAS) learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at UPT SPF Inpres Mannuruki I, Makassar. A quantitative quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design was used. The sample consisted of 50 students, 25 in the experimental class and 25 in the control class. Data were collected through observation sheets, a motivation questionnaire, and a learning outcome test (pretest and posttest), and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene's test, the Independent Samples t-Test, and N-Gain. The treatment was implemented very well: teacher activity rose from 72.50% to 95.00% and student activity from 55.00% to 93.00%. The mean motivation score of the experimental class increased from 71.60 to 87.32 (control: 70.60 to 81.04) and the mean learning outcome from 67.08 to 91.12 (control: 66.08 to 80.64), with significant posttest differences (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The N-Gain of the experimental class was 0.560 (medium) for motivation and 0.741 (high) for learning outcomes. Integrating Joyful Learning, Educaplay, and Deep Learning is effective in improving students' motivation and IPAS learning outcomes.
