This study presents an adapted solution procedure for solving a fuzzy multi-objective transportation problem (FMOTP) using Gaussian Fuzzy Numbers (GFNs). Previous harmonic mean-based FMOTP studies have mainly employed Triangular Fuzzy Numbers (TFNs), while the use of GFNs remains less explored in this context. To address this gap, the procedure integrates TFN-to-GFN conversion, centroid-based defuzzification, harmonic mean aggregation, matrix reduction, and an explicit priority-cell allocation rule. The numerical example shows that the resulting allocation produces lower total transportation time and distance than the recalculated reference allocation, while the total transportation cost increases only slightly. The sensitivity analysis shows that the base allocation remains unchanged when either selected transportation-time parameter is increased by up to 15%. These findings indicate that the adapted procedure offers a systematic and reproducible approach for obtaining a feasible trade-off allocation when transportation time and distance are important operational considerations.
