Drought is a hydrometeorological disaster that can threaten water availability and increase the vulnerability of urban communities. This study aims to analyze drought disaster risk in Cilembang Village, Tasikmalaya City, based on hazard, vulnerability, and capacity components. A descriptive approach combined with spatial analysis based on secondary data was employed. Hazard was assessed using rainfall, slope, soil type, geological structure, and land-use parameters; vulnerability covered economic, social, and environmental dimensions; while capacity was evaluated based on community and institutional preparedness. Each parameter was classified and scored, and the components were subsequently integrated through an overlay technique using ArcGIS 10.8. The results indicate that Cilembang Village has high drought hazard and vulnerability levels, influenced by low rainfall according to the classification applied in this study, the dominance of residential land use of approximately 90%, high population density, and limited water infiltration areas. Institutional capacity is already present; however, drought-specific early warning systems and community participation still require strengthening. The integration of hazard, vulnerability, and capacity indicates that Cilembang Village is classified as having a high drought risk. These findings emphasize the importance of water conservation, sustainable land-use management, and strengthening community capacity as key components of drought risk reduction strategies.
