<![CDATA[The Society 5.0 era necessitates that educators become proficient in information and communication technology (ICT) to keep up with the rapid pace of technological change. However, many teachers still have limited understanding of and ability to use technology in the learning process. Therefore, an effective training management model is needed to improve teachers’ digital competencies. This study explores training management for creating learning videos using Canva AI as an innovation in digital education. Canva AI is a user-friendly design platform that helps educators create engaging and interactive learning videos. This preliminary research focuses on the needs-analysis stage of research and development (R&D). Data were collected through a literature review, interviews, and a questionnaire distributed to 85 teachers from various education levels in Indonesia. The findings indicate that teachers strongly need training in developing innovative, IT-based learning media, particularly learning videos, to enhance their professional competence in the Society 5.0 era, with Canva AI proposed as a candidate platform for the next research stage.]]>
