<![CDATA[First-grade elementary school students require reading materials that align with their developmental stage. This study aimed to produce an illustrated storybook to serve as a supplementary resource for early reading instruction for first-grade students at SD Negeri 36 Pontianak Kota. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which encompasses the analysis, design, and development stages. The research subjects included subject matter experts, language experts, design experts, teachers, and first-grade students from the school. Data collection techniques involved interviews and questionnaires. Expert evaluations regarding content, language, and design aspects all yielded a "Highly Valid" rating. Respone tests also indicated a highly positive reception, with approval rates of 96.68% from teachers and 100% from students. Consequently, the developed illustrated storybook is deemed suitable for use as a supplementary early reading resource for first-grade students at SD Negeri 36 Pontianak Kota.]]>
