<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the Production Based Training (PBT) learning model on students’ learning outcomes in the subject of Creative Product and Entrepreneurship for class XI DPIB I at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai in the 2025/2026 academic year. The background of this research is the low student learning outcomes caused by the use of less varied learning models, which are still dominated by Direct Learning, resulting in students being passive and less motivated. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design of the nonequivalent control group type. The research sample consists of two classes: class XI DPIB I as the experimental class treated using the PBT model, and class XI DPIB III as the control class using the Direct Learning model. Data collection techniques include tests (pre-test and post-test), observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results show that there is a higher increase in students’ learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. The improvement in learning outcomes for the experimental class is 80.7, while for the control class it is 67.5. This is supported by the hypothesis testing results (t = 3.65 > 1.67469), indicating a significant effect of the use of the PBT model on students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Production Based Training (PBT) learning model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in the subject of Creative Product and Entrepreneurship.]]>
