This study aimed to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and overhead passing ability among volleyball extracurricular participants at SMP Negeri Margatunggal. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consisted of 30 male participants, all of whom were selected as the research sample using total sampling. Arm muscle strength was operationalized through a 60-second push-up score, while overhead passing ability was measured using a 60-second wall passing test. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, a linearity test, scatterplot examination, and Spearman correlation analysis. The linearity test showed a significance value of 0.022 for Deviation from Linearity, which was less than 0.05, indicating that the linearity assumption was not met. Therefore, the relationship was further analyzed using Spearman correlation. The analysis resulted in a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.373 with a significance value of 0.043 < 0.05. These results indicate a positive and statistically significant relationship between the 60-second push-up score and overhead passing ability among volleyball extracurricular participants at SMP Negeri Margatunggal. The relationship identified is statistical in nature and should not be interpreted as a causal relationship. The findings are limited to male participants from one school and should therefore be interpreted cautiously when applied to groups with different characteristics.
