This community service activity aimed to strengthen the quality of guidance and counseling services in schools and enhance the professional competence of Guidance and Counseling students in designing, implementing, and evaluating contextual services. The activity was conducted at SMP Negeri 17 Baubau through mentoring students participating in the School Field Practice Program (PLP), involving guidance and counseling teachers as school mentors. A participatory and contextual mentoring approach was applied through several stages, including needs identification, planning, service implementation, supervision, evaluation, and reflection. Data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively based on observations, documentation, reflections, and feedback. The results indicate that mentoring supported students in developing their ability to prepare service plans, implement classroom guidance, group guidance, and group counseling, as well as improve communication, classroom management, media utilization, and service evaluation skills. The activity also contributed to strengthening school counseling services and fostering collaboration between the university and partner school
