This study aims to develop and evaluate the validity and practicality of an Indonesian language e-module on imperative and persuasive sentences in advertising images for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Tinombo Selatan. The study employed a research and development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which includes define, design, development, and disseminate. The research subjects consisted of one media validator, one content validator, two practitioners, and 25 students. Data were collected through validation questionnaires and student response questionnaires, then analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis based on the mean scores of the Likert scale. The results showed that the final-stage media validation achieved an average score of 5.00, categorized as “highly valid”, the content validation achieved an average score of 4.40, categorized as “valid”; the practitioners’ assessment opracticality achieved an average score of 4.81, categorized as “highly practical”; and the student responses achieved an average score of 4.408, categorized “highly practical.” These findings indicate that the developed e-module meets the criteria for validity and practicality for use as an alternative learning medium for the subject matter under study. This study has not yet tested the effectiveness of the e-module on learning outcomes; therefore, further research is needed to assess its impact through an experimental design
