The development of information technology has driven the widespread use of social media among students, including in 3T regions (disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost areas) such as Tanjung Hutan Village, Karimun Regency, which still faces limitations in digital infrastructure and digital ethics literacy. This community service activity aims to raise the awareness of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Buru regarding safe, polite, critical, and responsible social media ethics, as part of the KKN Group 59 program. The activity was carried out through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation, targeting 45 students. The method consisted of interactive outreach through material delivery, question-and-answer sessions, and case analysis using ethics cards, with effectiveness measured through pretests and posttests analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The pretest results showed that most students (75.6%) already understood social media ethics conceptually, although the aspect of privacy was still rarely recognized. The posttest results showed an increase in understanding, particularly awareness of asking permission before uploading group photos (91.1%) and recognizing personal data (82.2%), while emotional support for victims of cyberbullying still needs to be strengthened. This activity contributes to strengthening digital literacy and character education for students in 3T regions, as well as recommendations for program sustainability.
