Low student mathematics learning outcomes remain a problem at MTsN 3 Mataram. End-of-Semester Summative Data shows that most eighth-grade students have not yet achieved the Minimum Achievement Criteria. In addition, the learning process is still dominated by lecture methods so that students tend to be passive and less motivated in participating in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model based on Clash of Champions on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at MTsN 3 Mataram in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a posttest-only control group design. The research sample consisted of students of grades VIII-3 as the experimental class and VIII-2 as the control class selected using a purposive sampling technique. Learning outcome data were obtained through a posttest and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, t-tests, and effect size. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class was 80.83, higher than the control class at 66.50. The t-test results show that is greater than 1,99, so there is a significant difference between the two classes. The effect size value of 0.93 indicates a high influence category. Thus, the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type based on Clash of Champions has a positive effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes.
