Generation Alpha (born 2010–2025) represents a cohort growing up fully immersed in a ubiquitous digital environment. This shift demands a strategic paradigm shift in instructional design, including within Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study investigates the integration, classification, and implementation principles of digital learning media tailored for Generation Alpha. Utilizing a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, this paper synthesizes empirical findings on interactive media, gamification platforms, mobile Islamic applications, and immersive technologies (AR/VR and Artificial Intelligence). The findings indicate that while digital innovations significantly bolster student engagement, motivation, and conceptual comprehension of Islamic teachings, their implementation must strictly adhere to Islamic pedagogical principles namely content authenticity, developmental appropriateness, active engagement, value integration, and digital-spiritual balance. Furthermore, addressing challenges such as technological disparities and teacher digital literacy is crucial for sustainable implementation.
