This study was motivated by the low ability of Grade X students at SMK Negeri 1 Silangkitang to read the Al-Qur'an according to tajwid rules and the limited implementation of the Qiroati method during Ramadan. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Qiroati method in improving students' Al-Qur'an reading ability. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving Grade X ATP students in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the Qiroati method was implemented through teacher reading demonstrations, classical and individual reading activities, and evaluation using student achievement books. The method showed positive effects on students' reading ability, particularly in reading fluency and the accuracy of makhraj al-huruf, although advanced tajwid rules and waqf and ibtida' still require reinforcement. Supporting factors included teacher competence, school support, student motivation, and a conducive environment, while obstacles included limited instructional time, differences in students' initial abilities, seasonal implementation, and limited parental involvement.
