This study aimed to determine the effect of the guided inquiry model assisted by Educaplay games on Indonesian language learning outcomes, particularly the topic of conjunctions, among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 160 Palembang. The study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, in which participants were selected based on specific considerations. The population consisted of 152 students, while the sample comprised 50 students from Classes V.A and V.B. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments. Data analysis included validity, normality, reliability, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The normality test showed that all data were normally distributed, with significance values greater than 0.05. The homogeneity test yielded a significance value of 0.213, indicating that the data were homogeneous. Furthermore, hypothesis testing resulted in a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H? was accepted and H? was rejected. Therefore, the guided inquiry model assisted by Educaplay games had a significant effect on students’ Indonesian language learning outcomes in the topic of conjunctions. These findings suggest that combining guided inquiry with interactive educational games can provide an engaging alternative for supporting Indonesian language learning in elementary schools.
