This study aimed to determine the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model assisted by puzzle media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students in Pancasila Education, particularly the topic of norms and rules. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population consisted of 52 fourth-grade students at SDN 23 Singkawang, comprising 26 students in Class IV A and 26 students in Class IV B. The sample was selected using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. Data were collected through a learning outcomes test consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions. Data analysis employed an independent-samples t-test and Effect Size analysis. The results showed that: (1) there was a difference in learning outcomes between students taught using the STAD model and those taught using direct instruction, as indicated by tcount = 6.6951 > t val = 2.0085, resulting in the rejection of H?; and (2) the STAD learning model had a high effect on students’ learning outcomes, with an Effect Size of 1.92, categorized as high. Therefore, the STAD learning model assisted by puzzle media significantly affected students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila Education on norms and rules.
