Hypertension is one of the most common chronic diseases suffered by people around the world, including in rural areas of Indonesia. Besides medical factors, psychological conditions like stress are important variables that influence the course of this disease. Family social support is believed to act as a protective factor that can reduce stress levels in hypertension patients. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family social support and stress levels in hypertension patients in Krowe Village, Lembeyan District, Magetan Regency. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study subjects consisted of 60 hypertension patients chosen through purposive sampling based on predetermined inclusion criteria. Data were collected using a family social support scale questionnaire (based on Fredman’s dimensions) and a stress level scale (based on Cohen’s aspects). Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with the help of SPSS. The study results showed a correlation coefficient of -0.499 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means there is a significant negative relationship between family social support and stress levels in hypertension patients. The higher the family social support received by patients, the lower the stress levels experienced. These findings highlight the importance of involving family in the holistic management of hypertension, both medically and psychosocially
