Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with simulation of Physics Education Technology (PhET) toward student's physics study results. The type of this research was quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research were all students in X grade at SMAN 3 Mataram with the number of students 496 spread out into thirteen classes. The samples of this research are X7 as experimental class and X9 as control class were drawn by purposive sampling. The results showed that the average grade X7 and X9 were 68.30 and 61.80, statistically the achievement test data is normally distributed and homogeneous. The study results obtained were analyzed with t-test separated variance, and the results showed tcount = 2.67 and ttable = 1.99 in significant standard 5% and released standard 6. Because tcount > ttable, Ho was rejected. So, it can be concluded that Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with simulation of Physics Education Technology (PhET) influence toward student's physics study results.
