This study aims to describe the development of responsible behaviour in children aged 4-5 years at the KB-TK Islam Al Azhar 22 Semarang. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving six children at the KB-TK Islam Al Azhar 22 Semarang, three children aged 4 and three children aged 5, and two teachers as informants. Data collection was conducted through direct observation and interviews with class teachers. The results showed that 4-year-old children tended to be more consistent in obeying rules and showing concern for the environment, such as tidying up toys and maintaining classroom cleanliness regularly. Meanwhile, 5-year-old children displayed higher independence in completing tasks independently, but their consistency in obeying rules and social responsibility was not yet fully stable. These findings indicate that the development of responsibility is not only influenced by age, but also by habits, teacher role models, and the character of each child. This study emphasizes the importance of continuous and consistent stimulation in forming responsible behaviour from an early age.
