This study aims to analyze the implementation of religious moderation in the life of the multireligious community in Nagori Bahbiak, Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency, and to identify the role of KKN students and the dynamics that arise in its implementation. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation and documentation during the KKN program conducted from July 27 to August 30, involving 28 students from Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. The findings indicate that religious moderation is reflected in social concern, mutual cooperation, collaboration, and the involvement of both Muslim and non-Muslim communities in various activities. The students also implemented religious moderation through social activities, such as cleaning mosques and churches. Inclusive practices were demonstrated through the Festival Anak Sholeh, which involved approximately 15 non-Muslim participants out of 35 participants. However, dynamics emerged regarding the use of religious spaces when giving awards to non-Muslim participants within the mosque environment. The findings demonstrate that religious moderation involves not only social harmony but also the ability to manage differences through open, inclusive, and sustainable communication and mutual understanding among stakeholders.
