Abstract

On this activity, the author’s focus is on helping Barokah 717 MSMs located in Ambulu Village, Sumberasih District, Probolinggo Regency to manufacture Appropriate Technology the cover of cassava and banana slices to improve the function of existing equipment. The hope is that through upgrade of this tool can increase work productivity. Another purpose of this activity is also as a forum for author to improve entrepreneurial skills through the manufacture of equipment. The method used is observation, discussion, and experimentation. With this activity, hoped that the tool that created may help Barokah 717 work productivity. The cover for the cassava and banana slicing that the author made includes a block that is used to press cassava or bananas so that no longer use hand directly. The problem faced is that because the tool is still experimental, when it tested it is not optimal operated and also the difference isn’t significant, then the availability of equipment to make that tool is limited.

Abstract

One of the efforts that can be made to improve public health is by providing self-medication training and detecting health early. The understanding of the Lirang Village community regarding the use of medicines around residents' homes to be used as medicine as well as giving vitamins and early examinations is still lacking and not optimal in utilizing traditional plants. Training and counseling are carried out at the lirang sub-district hall of the Lirang Sub-District Government, the Lirang Sub-District community, and local organizational cadres. The activity begins with checking blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid followed by counseling on how to choose vitamins and practice training on making herbal medicines. The activity was carried out well and received an enthusiastic response from the Lirang Village community. Kelurahan Lirang is very accepting and open if there is a similar training that will be held in the future.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a form of learning in the form of community service carried out by a group of students in order to promote community welfare and educate the nation's life. Madrasah Aliyah Al-Hidayah Duminanga is one of the schools where the Community Service Program (KKN) is held by the Muhammadiyah University of Manado, Faculty of Health Sciences. The implementation of KKN this year is more focused on high schools than serving the community. The aim is to increase students' knowledge about the world of health more broadly and students can apply healthy living practices in daily activities that can have an impact on themselves and the surrounding environment. For this reason, observations were made to identify problems found in the field that occurred at MA Al-Hidayah Duminanga. Observation is a data collection technique in which the researcher makes observations, either directly or indirectly, about the things being observed and records them on an observation tool. In determining a problem, the method used is to determine the priority of the problem qualitatively. Based on observations that were made for one week starting from February 21-25, several problem factors were found at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Hidayah Duminanga, namely a lack of knowledge in terms of mental health, lack of attention to environmental hygiene, and also the absence of UKS facilities. The solution offered to activity partners is to conduct counseling and education about the importance of adolescent mental health (online game addiction, the dangers of smoking, & being wise in social media) as well as reproductive health education, the dangers of promiscuity and also education on proper drug use. Suggesting guidance and rehabilitation in schools such as the role of guidance and counseling teachers who have been student counselors at schools directing students with indications of unfavorable behavior such as personal, family and rehabilitation approaches.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a behavior in which a person applies hygiene behavior in his daily life by paying attention to his health level. Living a healthy life is something that everyone should practice because there are so many benefits, from mental and physical health to focusing on doing something, as well as on the welfare of family members and the creation of a beautiful, beautiful and peaceful atmosphere so that the living environment feels comfortable. The KKN student group at the Muhammadiyah University of Manado has a mission to make MAKN BOLAANG MONGONDOW students aware of the importance of implementing Clean and Healthy Behavior through several work programs related to PHBS. Some of the activities carried out were SAHUR (SANTRI HEALTHY BODY) and counseling on how to wash hands properly, which was carried out at the MAKN school in BOLAANG MONGONDOW sub-istrict, given the low awareness of the school community on the importance of health. As a result, through some of the activities above, it is able to make the school community aware of the importance of implementing Clean and Healthy Behavior and can provide knowledge to the community regarding how to apply clean and healthy living behaviors appropriately.

Abstract

UMKM Jamu Bathok Bu Tatik only carries out promotional activities by word of mouth. The sales and promotion activities are carried out in a traditional way, relying on the location of business stalls in Pasar Krukah, Surabaya. Therefore, rebranding is needed to increase the attractiveness and brand awareness. The rebranding that was carried out included creating a new logo and packaging stickers with attractive designs so that they were more eye-catching and could become the identity of the UMKM Jamu Bathok Bu Tatik which distinguished them from other herbal medicine sellers. The process required is to design and develop promotional media through the application of digital marketing which includes creating websites and business-specific emails, creating Instagram social media accounts, verifying MSME locations on Google Maps, and creating e-catalogs so that consumers can easily find out which product variants are available.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide socialization to the Juwana fishing community regarding the management of raw materials for making fishing boats in protecting the maritime environment and provide solutions to find alternative raw materials so that the vessels are in proper condition and safe to operate. This activity was held at the UPP class 3 Juwana meeting building, Pati Regency on March 20-22 2023. This community service activity was carried out through several stages including the preparation stage, field survey, activity planning, implementation in the form of counseling and evaluation. The implementation of this community service was enthusiastically welcomed by the Juana fishing community because this activity can add insight into the raw materials for shipbuilding so that people can be more careful and protect the environment

Abstract

Most Indonesian people and even the world community have adopted information technology in all forms of life. This is because information technology makes it easy to present information quickly. One sector that has been supporting the Indonesian economy and regional economic strength is the presence of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). When the world and Indonesian economies were in a recession, MSME actors did not have too much of a negative impact on the economic recession, in fact most MSME actors were still able to develop in supporting the progress of the national economy. These MSMEs certainly have various obstacles in the process of developing and selling their products. One of the SMEs where the KKNT-MBKM student service is in the City of Surabaya has problems in marketing factors and also product branding. Therefore, the purpose of this service activity is to plan marketing strategies for these UMKM’s to launch their business activities. The method used is qualitative with the type of data collection through observation, interviews and documentation of activities for UMKM person. The results of this service activity for UMKM products have developed and the marketing aspects are going well.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are important players in economic development and growth in the world, not only in developing countries, but also in developed countries. The development of information technology has changed the scope of the marketing world in recent years. Businesses use the internet as a marketing tool for financial success and to help drive communication with online visibility and sales channels and social media advertising becomes a powerful way to reach various markets for business expansion. Marketing activities that utilize the sophistication of digital technology are often referred to as digital marketing. Interesting content is one of the supporting aspects of digital marketing. The implementation of product photo activities at Dancuk Jaran MSMEs, Ngadiboyo Village is carried out in several stages, starting from conducting field analysis, namely observation and needs, continuing to determine the framework for solving problems. The next process of preparation and execution. The sequence of stages is designed in such a way with the aim of maximizing the photos to be produced to match the message that MSME owners want to convey. Product photo activities were carried out at MSMEs "Dancuk Jaran" carried out by KKNT Group 68 students of Ngadiboyo Village. The product photo work program is carried out with stages of observation, FGD, moodboard making and implementation. After the photos are taken, photos are given to MSME owners to be uploaded on MSMEs' social media.

Abstract

The population for the age group of school children in Indonesia is very large, of course it is at risk of contributing to public health problems, especially at schools. One of the efforts that can be carried out at schools is to form a school health clinic (UKS). The role of the UKS in this regard is to empower students and the school community to get used to a clean and healthy lifestyle and first respond to health problems so as to reduce further risk factors. However in practice, UKS is often not a priority in the implementation of education in schools, many schools have not optimized UKS due to unsupportive infrastructure and a lack of understanding of health, one of which is at Madrasah Aliyah Tolutu. So a program to increase the role of the UKS at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Falah Tolutu was carried out as part of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Manado Community Service Program in 2023. This program was carried out in the form of counseling, outreach and direct training to students and the formation of UKS members. A series of activities were carried out on 127 students and 14 students were selected as UKS members. School students were very enthusiastic in participating in the socialization and training that had been held. The end result of this program is an increase in students' understanding of health and the formation of UKS cadres who are expected to continue their role to other students on an ongoing basis.
