Abstract

Abstract: The low civic engagement of elementary school students is one of the challenges in learning Pancasila Education. This condition is characterized by low active participation, social concern, and student involvement in learning activities and community life. One alternative that can be used to overcome this problem is the use of educational games based on Pancasila values as an interactive and contextual learning medium. This study aims to analyze various research findings related to the use of educational games based on Pancasila values in strengthening civic engagement of elementary school students through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The literature search process was carried out using the keywords "Pancasila value-based educational games", "Pancasila games", "civic engagement of elementary school students", "civic education", and "educational games" on the Google Scholar database with the help of the Publish or Perish application. The articles analyzed are publications in 2021-2026 and have a selection process based on PRISMA guidelines. The results of the study show that the use of educational games based on Pancasila values is able to increase learning motivation, active participation, collaboration skills, responsibility, social awareness, and students' understanding of Pancasila values. The integration of divine values, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice in game activities provides a more meaningful learning experience and supports the formation of students' civic character. Thus, Pancasila value-based educational games can be an effective and innovative learning strategy in civic engagement of elementary school students and supporting the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in the Independent Curriculum. Keywords: Educational Game; Pancasila Values; Civic Engagement; Pancasila Education; Elementary School
