This study aims to examine and analyze the relationship between the implementation of reward and punishment and student's interest in learning Arabic at SMP IT Anugrah Hidayah Makassar. The study employed a quantitative correlational approach to investigate the effects of implementing reward and punishment on student's interest in learning Arabic. The sample consisted of 44 students, and data were co;;ected through questionnaires. The analytical methods include validity and reliability tests, classical assumsion tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing (t-test), and simultaneous F-test. The findings indicate that the implementation of reward (X1) has a positive and significant effect on student's interest in learning Arabic (Y), with a coefficient value of 0,544. Meanwhile, the implementation of punishment (X2) has a positive but insignificant effect on student's interest in learning Arabic (Y).
