Ecotheology integrates religious values with environmental awareness and responsible stewardship of nature. Instilling ecotheological values from an early age is important for developing environmental awareness as a habit and part of children's character. This article aims to describe the role of university students participating in Field Experience Practice (PPL) in cultivating ecotheological values among students at MI Ma'arif Jolontoro, Sapuran District, wonosobo Regency. This qualitative study employed a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, participation in educational activities, and documentation of environmental habituation during the PPL program. Activities included providing an understanding of the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy school environment, collaborative cleaning practices, proper waste disposal, and continuous cleanliness habituation. The findings indicate that these activities strengthened students' understanding that environmental cleanliness and stewardship are not merely social responsibilities but also part of religious teachings. Students demonstrated increased environmental awareness and responsibility through reduced littering, greater participation in classroom cleaning, and willingness to maintain cleanliness independently. The findings suggest that PPL students can support the internalization of ecotheological values through direct practice, consistent guidance, and environmental habituation.
