Abstract

This study aims to explore trainer communication models in building a Good Corporate Governance (GCG)-based organizational culture at PT Heksa Solution Insurance. The study employs a qualitative method with an ethnography of communication approach and a constructivist paradigm to understand meaning constructed through interactions between trainers and employees. Research subjects were selected purposively, involving experienced leaders and trainers, with locations in Jakarta and Bandung. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal that trainer communication is inclusive and participatory, utilizes diverse communication media, and emphasizes empathetic interpersonal relationships. Such communication significantly enhances employees’ understanding, motivation, and engagement with GCG values. However, challenges remain, including limited understanding among new employees and resistance to change. This study concludes that effective trainer communication serves as a fundamental basis for developing an ethical and sustainable organizational culture.
