This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to improve family welfare by strengthening Islamic financial literacy among the communities of the Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership (PRM) and ‘Aisyiyah Branch Leadership (PRA) in Kembaran. An initial survey of 30 members showed that 63% of respondents did not regularly record their family finances, 57% did not have an emergency fund, and 46% had or were using interest-bearing loans from non-Sharia financial institutions. In addition, the average Islamic financial literacy score was 52. The program employed an educational-participatory approach through lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, and mentoring. The materials covered tauhid-based asset management, Islamic family budgeting, debt management, avoidance of riba, and the use of Islamic financial instruments. Program evaluation used a 15-indicator instrument through comparative analysis of mean pre-test and post-test scores, while qualitative data were analyzed descriptively based on interviews, participant engagement, and feedback. The evaluation results showed an increase in the participants’ average knowledge score from 76 on the pre-test to 85 on the post-test, representing a 9-point improvement. Interview findings also indicated increased participant awareness of implementing financial management in accordance with Sharia principles, including budgeting, establishing emergency funds, avoiding riba-based transactions, and utilizing ZISWAF. The program demonstrates that Islamic financial literacy education and mentoring can improve participants’ understanding and support the strengthening of household economic resilience and family welfare
