Learning basic arithmetic operations in elementary schools requires learning media that are appropriate to students’ characteristics, particularly their need for concrete learning experiences and direct involvement in learning activities. This community service activity aimed to describe the development process and characteristics of the Mathematical Calculation Operations Wheel as an alternative learning medium for basic arithmetic operations. The method used was a descriptive approach through learning media development activities, including needs identification, media design, material selection, product development, preparation of a user module, demonstration, documentation, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) registration. The activity involved 26 students from grades 1–3 at SD Islam Al Anam Cendekia, Serang City, with KKM students acting as media designers and developers and teachers serving as facilitators. The media was designed as a physical wheel that allows students to obtain two numbers and perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division through a wheel-spinning activity. The activity resulted in a concrete learning medium accompanied by a user module and supported by an IPR certificate. The media provides an alternative learning activity that combines physical engagement, game elements, and basic arithmetic practice without relying on digital devices. This activity did not measure the effectiveness of the media on students’ learning outcomes; therefore, its contribution to improving students’ arithmetic skills cannot yet be empirically concluded. Further development and testing are needed to examine the media’s validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
