Fire is one of the major workplace hazards that can result in property damage, operational disruptions, and occupational injuries. In the garment industry, fire risks are primarily associated with the presence of combustible materials and the extensive use of electrical equipment during production activities. This community engagement program aimed to improve workers’ knowledge and preparedness in responding to fire-related emergencies at CV Mondy Garment. The program was conducted on July 17, 2026, involving 15 workers as participants. The methods employed included a pre-test assessment, educational sessions on fire hazards and fire prevention, hands-on training in the use of dry chemical powder fire extinguishers, interactive discussions, and a post-test evaluation. The results indicated that all participants (100%) demonstrated improved scores following the intervention. These findings suggest that the educational materials and practical training effectively enhanced participants’ understanding of fundamental fire safety concepts, preventive measures, and the proper use of fire extinguishers for initial fire suppression. The program demonstrates that integrating educational activities with practical exercises can strengthen workers’ fire safety awareness and support their preparedness for emergency situations in the workplace.
