This study examines the importance of innovation in learning. The main objective of this study is to see the differences before and after the implementation of the learning model in the experimental and control classes. This study uses a quantitative method of the quasi-experimental type, the sample of this study is class VIII.1 as the experimental class and class VIII.3 as the control class. The results of the study show: (1) The percentage of teacher and student activity increased at each meeting. (2) There is no difference in integrated science learning outcomes before the implementation of the learning model, tcount = 1,29 < ttable = 2,01, so (H0) is accepted. (3) There is a difference in integrated science learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the learning model in the experimental class, tcount = 5,34 > ttable = 1,71, so (H1) is accepted. (4) There is no difference in integrated science learning outcomes after the implementation of the learning model, tcount = 0,12 < ttable = 2,01 so (H0) is accepted. (5) It is quite effective in improving integrated science learning outcomes, with an N-gain percentage of 64%. In conclusion, this research is worth conducting
