The world of digital technology has developed rapidly, intensifying the moral and character challenges of students, thus demanding a character development approach that is not merely normative but rooted in spiritual awareness. This study aims to formulate a conceptual framework for developing student character based on the principle of tawhid (Islamic law) that is relevant to ethical challenges in the digital era. This study used a literature review method with a qualitative approach through thematic analysis of reputable journal articles from the last five years and academic books from the last ten years. The results show that tawhid-based character development can strengthen students' internal self-control through the values of muraqabah (trust), amanah (trustworthiness), tabayyun (religious trust), digital iffah (religious trust), and online communication ethics. In conclusion, tawhid-based character development offers a more holistic and sustainable approach to shaping students' digital behavior that is moral and responsible. This study implies the importance of developing curricula, educational policies, and Islamic learning practices that integrate tawhid values as the foundation of students’ digital ethics in order to foster religious, responsible, and well-characterized behavior in the digital era
