Islamic Religious Education (PAI) often faces criticism for being trapped in a "surface learning" approach, where the learning process is dominated by textual memorization disconnected from students' social realities. This phenomenon creates a gap between religious knowledge and behavioral practice. This study aims to explore the potential implementation of the Deep Learning curriculum as a strategy to revitalize PAI. Employing a qualitative library research method, this study analyzes theoretical literature on Deep Learning competencies (6Cs) and synthesizes them with Islamic educational values. The findings indicate that the Deep Learning framework is philosophically compatible with the PAI goal of forming "insan kamil" (the perfect human being). In practice, implementing this curriculum demands a paradigm shift from mere transfer of knowledge to contextual value transformation. PAI teachers are required to metamorphose from lecturers into learning architects who facilitate critical thinking (tabayyun) and collaboration (ta’awun). In conclusion, Deep Learning offers a pedagogical middle path to make PAI more relevant, meaningful, and impactful on student character development in the disruption era
