The use of leadership and teamwork animated video media in Civics Education on the topic of freedom of organization is considered an effective strategy to improve students' learning interest and achievement. The low learning interest and achievement of fifth-grade students at MIN 2 West Aceh were mainly caused by conventional teaching methods that failed to create an engaging learning environment. This study aimed to improve students' learning interest and achievement through the implementation of leadership and teamwork animated video media. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, including planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The participants were 43 fifth-grade students of MIN 2 West Aceh in the 2023/2024 academic year. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The findings revealed that the quality of learning implementation improved from a score of 2.93 (good) in Cycle I to 3.73 (very good) in Cycle II. Students' learning interest increased from 2.70 to 3.70, while learning mastery improved from 0% in the pre-cycle to 18.60% in Cycle I and reached 95.35% in Cycle II. The findings imply that leadership and teamwork animated video media can serve as an effective instructional alternative to enhance students' engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes in Civics Education, while providing practical guidance for teachers in developing more innovative and student-centered learning practices
