Digital transformation in elementary schools requires teachers to utilize technology to create innovative and interactive learning. However, teachers’ understanding and skills in developing Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media still need to be strengthened. This community service activity aimed to improve teachers’ competencies in developing and implementing AR-based learning media. The activity was conducted on July 21–22, 2026, at SDN 20 Piai, Padang City, involving 31 teachers and school principals from Gugus I, Lubuk Begalung District. The methods included material delivery, demonstrations, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed an improvement in teachers’ understanding based on the pre-test and post-test results. Participants were also able to produce digital learning media integrating AR to support the learning process. The implementation of the media demonstrated increased student engagement and improved quality of learning interactions. These findings confirm that practice-based training can strengthen teachers’ digital competencies and support learning transformation in elementary schools.
