The title Implementation of Audio-Visual Media to Improve PAI Learning Outcomes in Grade 6 at SDN Banyuasih 2 was chosen because of the low level of interest and activity among students when Islamic Religious Education (PAI) was still taught using conventional methods such as lectures. This situation necessitated more creative and interactive learning strategies, one of which was through the use of audio-visual media. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive design, focusing on sixth-grade students of SDN Banyuasih 2 for the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques, targeting the Islamic Education (PAI) teacher and five students as primary informants. The information processing procedure refers to Miles & Huberman’s framework, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this research demonstrate that the implementation of audiovisual media contributes significantly to enhancing student participation, learning stimulation, and cognitive mastery related to the topic of halal and haram. Students were more focused, enthusiastic, and active in discussions and learning activities. Teachers also felt significant benefits in delivering the material, despite obstacles such as limited facilities and preparation time. Overall, this study confirms that audio-visual media is an effective and relevant learning strategy to improve the quality of PAI learning in elementary schools.
