This study aims to analyze the efforts of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in improving Qur’an memorization among children aged 3–5 years through the use of audio-visual media at Rumah Qur’an Thursina Karawang. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving two PAI teachers and eight early childhood students. The findings reveal that children’s memorization abilities vary according to their developmental stage, with children aged 4–5 years demonstrating more stable memorization compared to those aged 3 years. The use of audio-visual media, particularly murottal videos, contributes to enhancing memorization fluency, motivation, and learning interest through consistent repetition of recitations. Teachers integrate audio-visual media with pedagogical strategies such as talaqqi, regular murajaah, gradual repetition, and direct guidance and correction. Although audio-visual media effectively attracts children’s attention and supports memory reinforcement, it is not fully effective in improving tajwid accuracy and pronunciation without intensive teacher assistance. Supporting factors include consistent media use, teacher competence, and parental involvement, while inhibiting factors involve limited attention span and visual distractions.
