The tiered Diniyah Smart Competition activity emerged as a response to the low religious literacy in Diniyah educational institutions. The urgency of this research lies in the need for an effective evaluation model to measure and sustainably improve students' religious understanding. This study aims to analyze the implementation of tiered Diniyah Smart Competition as an evaluation step for Diniyah educational institutions in improving religious literacy. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation at three Diniyah institutions at elementary, middle, and high levels. Data analysis was performed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that tiered Diniyah Smart Competition can increase student active participation by up to 65 percent, identify weaknesses in religious teaching materials, and serve as an objective competitive evaluation tool. This study concludes that the tiered Diniyah Smart Competition is effectively used as an evaluation step and a strategy to improve religious literacy in Diniyah educational institutions.
