Low community literacy on groundwater quality and inadequate sanitation practices pose significant risks to the sustainability of the community-based drinking water system (PAM-RT) in Burai Village. The activity aimed to improve community understanding and management capacity regarding water quality and sanitation. Implementation included socialization, technical training, field observation, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results indicated a significant increase in participants’ knowledge, with scores rising from 78.99% to 90.91%. The N-Gain value of 0.567 (56.7%) categorized the intervention as moderately effective. These findings demonstrate that participatory educational approaches can enhance community awareness, strengthen local management capacity, and provide a scalable model for improving rural water management and sustaining community-based water supply systems
