This study aims to analyze personal data protection as a form of respect for individual rights through a case study of the JasReg case decided by the Serang District Court and to examine its relationship with Pancasila as the value foundation for the development of science. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Decision of the Serang District Court, Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, books, journals, and other relevant literature. The results show that personal data protection is not only related to legal aspects but also represents respect for individual rights, privacy, security, and dignity. The JasReg case shows that technological development needs to be accompanied by legal and ethical awareness so that personal data is not used irresponsibly. From the perspective of Pancasila, personal data protection is closely related to the values of humanity, justice, responsibility, and the common interest. Therefore, the development of science and technology should not only focus on technological progress but also consider Pancasila values and individual rights in the digital environment.
