This study aimed to describe and compare the effects of the Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning (PBL) models on scientific literacy, learning agility, and biology learning outcomes among tenth-grade students. This was a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population comprised all tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung in the 2025/2026 academic year (356 students across 10 classes). Samples were selected through random sampling of intact classes taught by the same teacher, yielding Class X Merdeka 1 (32 students) as the PBL group and Class X Merdeka 2 (36 students) as the Learning Cycle 7E group. Data were collected using a scientific literacy questionnaire, a learning agility questionnaire, and a cognitive learning outcome test, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (independent samples t-test and Analysis of Covariance/ANCOVA) at a significance level of ? = 0.05. The results showed significance values of 0.003 for scientific literacy, 0.030 for learning agility, and 0.027 for learning outcomes (all p < 0.05), indicating that the Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning models had a significant effect on all three variables. The Learning Cycle 7E model produced higher scientific literacy scores, whereas PBL produced higher learning agility and learning outcome scores, suggesting that the two models complement rather than substitute for one another
