<![CDATA[AbstractThis study discusses on the protection of economic rights towards textbooks of Gadjah Mada University Press based on the Law number 28 of 2014 on Copyright. The questions posed are (1) How is the implementation of the protection of economic rights towards the textbooks of Gadjah Mada University Press according to the said law? (2) Are there any hindrance in the protection of copyright of textbooks of Gadjah Mada University Press, and what are the solutions to it? The research shows that the implementation of the economic protection towards textbooks of UGM Press is in accordance with the Law number 28 of 2014 on Copyright. The author did not find hindrances on the economic protection of said textbooks in the publishing agreement nor production process, however the author found a global hindrance that is the piracy of the said textbooks. IntisariPenelitian ini membahas mengenai perlindungan hak ekonomi terhadap buku teks pada penerbit Gadjah Mada University Press berdasarkan UU No. 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta. Rumusan masalah yang diambil adalah (1) Bagaimana implementasi perlindungan hak ekonomi terhadap buku teks pada penerbitGadjah Mada University Press berdasarkan UUHC 2014? (2) Apakah terdapat hambatan dalam perlindungan hak cipta buku teks pada Penerbit Gadjah Mada University Press, dan bagaimana solusinya? Kesimpulan penelitian adalah implementasi perlindungan hak ekonomi pada buku teks pada UGM Press telah sesuai dengan Undang-undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta. Penulis tidak menemukan hambatan pada perlindungan hak ekonomi terhadap buku teks pada UGM Press baik dari perjanjian penerbitan buku, proses produksi buku, namun penulis menemukan hambatan global yang dialami oleh UGM Press dan penerbit lainnya, yakni pembajakan buku oleh masyarakat.]]>
