<![CDATA[Abstract: This article is based on the qualitative grounded research about the role of PKn as the citizen value, moral, and character education. The results of the interview from experts, history actors, and national figures, observation, and literature study concluded about the role of PKn as value and moral education had contribution to the development of the citizen character. In effort to develop autonomy citizen and democratic society PKn education should be taught through democratic way, i.e. development of citizenship literacy, social and cultural communication, problem solving, reasoning, and participation.]]>
