Abstract

The objective of this research was to set up the SMS based agricultural commodities information system that run well and provide accurate and speedy information at a reasonably low cost, particularly for horticultural products marketed at Sub Agribusiness Terminal (STA) Mantung Agribis Center in Malang Regency. The Agribusiness information outputs consist of suppliers, sale transactions, buyers, purchasing transactions, and commodities information. The required data were Government, Suppliers, and Buyers. The system users would be Suppliers, buyers, Managers of Agribusiness Terminals, Sub Agribusiness Terminal and main markets, and related government and private bodies. A descriptive-analytical method, so-called the prototyping approach, was chosen. The research was started in two main stages, first, an identification of users’ needs and a development of a system prototype that covered the conceptual design, architecture design, and program implementation (coding). The architecture of the design consisted of data base, process, user interface, and network design. The software employed were Gammu, Firebird 1.5, SMS Demon and Delphi 7.0. The hardware required include the Auto Respond SMS application, a compute set equipped with a GSM modem, and a GSM network. The information in the developed system, however, was not real time since the data was first collected from the sources, then the collected data was input and processed. Therefore, there will be a time delay, depending on the time to execute this sequence. The results indicated that the developed system was able to provide users the relevance information within 15-30 seconds at a cost of not more than regular SMS charge.   Key words: SMS-based horticultural information system

Abstract

This research is addressed for designing an information system provides agro-industrial information of Pasuruan District. This research is conducted with descriptive method. The design’s steps use inception and elaboration steps of USDP and support of UWE at the elaboration. Models that yielded from the research are use case model, conceptual model, navigation space model, navigation structure model, presentation model, deployment diagram and component diagram. A descriptive type of research was conducted to design an agro industrial information system of Pasuruan Regency. The information covered general aspect of the regency, agricultural crops, processing of agricultural crops and their products, agriculture-based industries, and the relevant supporting industries, available reading materials and references, guest lists visiting the sites, and maps of profile of the districts in the regency. The design was carried out by the use of the Unified  Software Development Process (USDP) and Unified Modeling Language-based Web Engineering (UWE).The design of agro industrial information system developed was able to present use case model, conceptual model, navigation space model, navigation structure model, presentation model, deployment diagram and component diagram. However, it still needed further works to improve the features, especially to provide more details information such as other available agro industrial infrastructures, financial analysis for agro industries. Abstract

Program FEATI (Farmer Empowerment through Agricultural Technology and Information) merupakan suatu program pemberdayaan dan pembangunan yang dikembangkan oleh pemerintah untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan penyuluhan pertanian. Kabupaten Malang merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang menjalankan program FEATI yang telah berlangsung sejak tahun 2008. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui tingkat partisipasi dan kinerja perempuan, 2) Menganalisis tahap-tahap yang mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi dan variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhi kinerja perempuan dan, 3) Menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat partisipasi dengan kinerja perempuan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi linier berganda, dan analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Tingkat partisipasi dan kinerja perempuan termasuk dalam kategori sedang, 2) Tahap pelaksanaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi perempuan serta kualitas sumberdaya manusia dan kualitas akses memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja perempuan dan, 3) Adanya hubungan yang kuat antara tingkat partisipasi dengan kinerja perempuan. Abstract

A research to study biomass classification by using GIS has been conducted at forest area in Ambon, Province of Maluku. The aims of this research were to find out composition of forest vegetation with its distribution, to determine biomass potency distribution of vegetation and to make classification of biomass potency, air temperature and light intensity distribution. This research used survey method. The vegetation biomass was measured by using allometric and weighted scoring method. By using GIS, definite score can be formatted. The result showed that composition of forest vegetation could be determined, and its biomass potency could be measured and presented on digital map. The digital map of biomass potency, air temperatures and light intensity distribution can be arranged successfully with 3 classifications: low 0.15 ha (17%), moderate 0.31 ha (37%) and high 0.39 ha (46%).   Keywords: biomass classification, LULUCF, CDM, GIS, allometric equation

Abstract

Critical land classification can be analyzed using combination between Top Soil Thickness - Land erosion method, and BRLT methods. Both methods are needed soil erosion data as one of input data. The soil erosion data can be analyzed using USLE and MUSLE methods. The combination of two critical land analyses methods with input soil erosion data from two analyses methods will be produced four combinations of critical land classification. In this research, four of the critical land classification and two soil erosion classification will be analyzed using GIS. The best method to classify critical land will be investigated in this research. The best classified critical land is the classified critical land data is nearest with the field condition.Percentage of vegetation cover (PVC) is one of the most important input data in the critical land classification analysis using BRLKT method. This data have 50% weight. PVC condition is classified into five categories i.e. very good, good, fair, poor, and very poor. Each category have score 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 respectively. To analyze this PVC classification, NDVI generated from satellite remote sensing data is used in this research. From the four methods of land critical classification analyses used in this research, critical land classified using BRLKT method with input soil erosion analyzed using method is produced the critical land classification nearest with the critical land condition in the field.Keywords: Critical land, Land erosion, GIS, Satellite Remote Sensing Data, NDVI

Abstract

Freedom of Information laws promote access to data held by government authorities in the public sector to mainstream society. Such laws have been enacted on a global scale however the obedience they have attracted is not consistent amongst each geographical location. Freedom of Information Laws have been enacted in Indonesia, it was a scheme introduced in 2008 which included many different components that were to improve each individual’s right to communicate and obtain information for the purpose of developing themselves and their current political and social environment. The adequacy of the Freedom of Information is a questionable notion in the grand scheme of Indonesia’s legal environment as its effectiveness and motives are rather questionable. It has been acknowledged that this initiative is still developing on a national scale, which raises the main question, is 6 years long enough for a scheme to still be dubbed as ‘developing’? This text will analyse the advantageous and pitfalls of the legislative instrument ending with a comparative analysis with the current situation that Australia experiences.

Abstract

AbstractThedigital technological advancement and internet technology urges the new forms of  works protection against new model of piracy and copyright infringement. Technological Protection Measures (TPM) and Rights Management Information (RMI) seeks to answer the needs of new forms of technological protection as those provisions are regulated under WIPO Copyright Treaty 1996. This paper suggest that the RMI concept which is regulated under Moral Rights section in Indonesian Copyright Act reveals new obstacles in order to comply with adequate and effective legal remedies requirementsin WCT provision. As a conclusion, the arrangement of RMI under Moral Rights in Indonesian Copyright Act does not fit properly with the main objectives of RMI as one element of double protection of digital works along with TPM. Key words: rights management information, moral rights, technological protectionAbstrakKemajuan teknologi digital dan teknologi internet memunculkan urgensi bentuk perlindungan baru atas model pembajakann karya cipta dan pelanggaran hak cipta. TPM (Technological Protection Measures) dan RMI (Rights Management Information) mencoba memberikan jawaban atas kebutuhan perlindungan ciptaan dengan penggunaan teknologi sebagaimana diatur dalam WIPO Copyright Treaty 1996. Tulisan ini selanjutnya akan menjelaskan bahwa pengaturan RMI di bawah Ketentuan Hak Moral dalam Undang-Undang Hak Cipta memunculkan kendala dan tantangan baru dalam kaitannya dengan pemenuhan persyaratan akan pengaturan RMI yang memadai dan efektif. Tulisan ini berkesimpulan bahwa pengaturan RMI dalam Ketentuan Hak Moral dalam UUHC di Indonesia tidak secara tepat sesuai dengan apa yang dimaksudkan dalam WCT, bahwa baik RMI dan TPM berfungsi sebagai proteksi ganda perlindungan karya digital.Kata kunci: right management information, hak moral, perlindungan teknologi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan masalah serta kebutuhan mahasiswa Sistem Informasi STMIK Amikom Purwokerto dalam mempelajari Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini juga memiliki tujuan untuk membuat ulang silabus Bahasa Inggris untuk mereka serta mengetahui keakuratan silabus berdasarkan saran dari para ahli. Penelitian ini mengacu pada penelitian kualitatif atau khususnya penelitian studi kasus. Ada enam langkah penelitian. Langkah pertama adalah dengan metode studi pustakayaitu mengumpulkan, mengobservasi, menganalisa kurikulum Bahasa Inggris di STMIK Amikom Purwokerto. Hasilnya penulis menemukan kurikulum Bahasa Inggris di STMIK Amikom Purwokerto adalah kurikulum yang bertujuan pada pemahaman pengetahuan dan keahlian yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan hidup mahasiswa sehari-hari.Langkah yang kedua adalah dengan metode yang sama studi pustaka yaitu mengumpulkan, mengobservasi, menganalisa silabus Bahasa Inggris di STMIK Amikom Purwokerto. Ada dua bagian yang dianalisis yaitu analisis format dan analisis isi. Langkah yang ketiga adalah melakukan analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa dalam belajar Bahasa Inggris. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yaitu untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang kesulitan serta kebutuhan mahasiswa dalam mempelajari Bahasa Inggris. Langkah yang keempat adalah membuat ulang silabus. Ada beberapa hal yang harus diperbaiki yaitu; (a) merumuskan ulang kompetensi dasar yang ingin dicapai, (b) merumuskan ulang standar kompetensi yang ingin dicapai, (c) menyusun topik dan material berdasarkan tingkat kesulitan, (d) merumuskan aktifitas belajar, (e) menciptakan indikator, alat evaluasi dan alokasi waktu. Abstract

Abstrak Demam berdarah dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue dari gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan secara sporadis selalu menjadi Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB) setiap tahun. Geographic Information System (GIS) adalah sebuah rangkaian sistem yang memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk mendukung penyelidikan epidemiologi penyakit DBD dan juga sebagai alat bantu untuk memantau kondisi daerah terhadap penyakit DBD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemetaan penyebaran penyakit DBD dengan GIS di Kota Kotamobagu. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan metode purposive sampling.Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 orang yang diambil dari data sekunder Dinas Kesehatan Kota Kotamobagu. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Penyebaran penderita penyakit DBD di Kota Kotamobagu tertinggi terdapat di kecamatan Kotamobagu Barat dengan jumlah 54 penderita dan terendah terdapat di kecamatan Kotamobagu Selatan dengan 12 penderita Kata Kunci: Pemetaan, DBD, GIS, Kota Kotamobagu

Abstract

Demam berdarah dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue. Penularan infeksi virus dengue terjadi melalui vektor nyamuk genus Aedes (terutama A. Aegypti dan A. Albopictus). Indonesia ialah negara dengan kasus DBD tertinggi di Asia Tenggara. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat pemetaan kasus DBD dengan menggunakan GIS. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan jumlah 106 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kasus DBD tertinggi terdapat pada Kecamatan Tenga yaitu 39%, tidak ada hubungan antara kepadatan penduduk dengan  kasus DBD,  lebih banyak pada usia 6-10 tahun 34,9% dan lebih banyak laki-laki yaitu 53,8%. Saran yang diberikan perlu dilakukan upaya pencegahan penyebaran DBD  Kata Kunci: DBD, GIS.
