Abstract

ABSTRACT This study discusses the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in writing scientific papers. The main objective of this study is to explore and analyze how the use of ICT can be integrated effectively to help facilitate writing scientific papers with the Publish or Perish, Vos Viewer and Mendeley platforms. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). In order to save space, this article will present data obtained from 25 journals that have met the in-depth inclusion criteria for publications in the last 10 years to determine the use of ICT in writing scientific papers. The results of the study show that the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) such as Publish or Perish (PoP), Vos Viewer, and Mendeley has made it easier for researchers and students to write scientific papers. PoP helps search and analyze academic journals and citation data, Vos Viewer allows bibliometric mapping to understand research trends, and Mendeley facilitates reference management and prevents plagiarism. These applications improve the efficiency of literature searches, citation accuracy, and the quality of scientific papers, and support more structured and systematic writing. The use of ICT ensures higher quality and more reliable research. Tujun utama penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi dan mengaalisis bagaimana pemanfaatan ICT dapat diitegrasikan ecara efektif untuk membantu mempermudah penulisan karya ilmiah dengan platfrorm Publish or Perish, Vos Viewer dan Mendeley. Penelitian ini menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Demi menghemat ruang, artikel ini akan menyajikan data yang diperoleh dari 25 jurnal yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi mendalam terhadap publikasi 10 tahun terakhir untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan ICT dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (ICT) seperti Publish or Perish (PoP), Vos Viewer, dan Mendeley telah mempermudah peneliti dan mahasiswa dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. PoP membantu mencari dan menganalisis jurnal akademik serta data sitasi, Vos Viewer memungkinkan pemetaan bibliometrik untuk memahami tren penelitian, dan Mendeley memudahkan pengelolaan referensi serta mencegah plagiarisme. Aplikasi-aplikasi ini meningkatkan efisiensi pencarian literatur, keakuratan sitasi, dan kualitas karya ilmiah, serta mendukung penulisan yang lebih terstruktur dan sistematis. Abstract

Unbalanced food consumption in toddlers can lead to serious health issues like malnutrition. Leaflets can be used as a tool to increase mothers' knowledge about balanced nutrition for their toddlers. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of leaflets in improving mothers' knowledge and interest in balanced nutrition for their toddlers in Kampung Baru, Riau Province. This research employed a Quasi Experiment with the One Group Pre-Post Test design and involved 85 respondents of mothers with toddlers in Kampung Baru Village. The study utilized the purposive sampling technique, collected data through a questionnaire, and performed univariate and bivariate analysis using statistical tests. The findings indicate that the P-value = 0.000, demonstrating the effectiveness of leaflets in increasing mothers' interest in balanced nutrition for their toddlers. As a result, health workers are encouraged to educate and provide information about balanced nutrition for toddlers through counseling and distribute leaflets more actively in Kampung Baru, Riau Province.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has led to the emergence of chatbots that use Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an innovation in customer service management information systems. This study aims to explain how AI-based chatbots are used to improve service effectiveness and company operational efficiency. The method used is an analysis of various relevant sources. The results show that chatbots are capable of providing fast, responsive, and 24-hour service, thereby increasing customer satisfaction and reducing company operational costs. However, chatbots still have shortcomings in understanding user sentiment and require regular system updates. Overall, the implementation of AI-based chatbots has a positive impact on improving service quality and the effectiveness of management information management.

Abstract

Background: Waste management is a crucial issue in achieving a clean and sustainable environment, necessitating the use of environmental information technology to improve its effectiveness. However, the effectiveness of this technology in waste management at final disposal sites still requires further analysis to meet public expectations and satisfaction. Objectives: This study aims to analyze environmental information technology-based waste management at the Sukoharjo Landfill, Pati Regency, using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) approach. Methods: The evaluation method is used to measure the effectiveness of waste management with data collected through surveys, interviews, observations, and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively using the IPA method and qualitatively using descriptive-interactive techniques based on the stages of Miles and Huberman. Results: The results of the study show: (1) waste management includes all stages of management, namely planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and following up; (2) environmental information technology is effective and satisfies the community, with 86.27% of respondents rating its performance as very good and 92.85% feeling satisfied; and (3) the IPA approach shows very high management performance (80.03%) and community expectations are met (87.13%). Conclusion: The results of the study show that the use of environmental information technology in waste management at the Sukoharjo Landfill has proven effective and is able to meet expectations and increase community satisfaction.

Abstract

The study mainly investigates and evaluates the factors that influence carbon accounting information disclosure with respect to the case of ASEAN countries. The approach that is taken for collecting the data is through a primary approach where the instrument that is relevant to the research paper is the questionnaire survey. Thus, the questionnaire survey is developed on the basis of the variables that are identified from the literature, along with the utilization of the Likert scale. The sample size selected for the questionnaire collection is 425 samples, of which 385 participants have provided complete information. The SEM was utilized through the tool Smart PLS. Moreover, the path analysis results show that the governance, industry characteristics, organizational efficiency, scale of operations and transparency level have significant and positive effects on carbon accounting information disclosure. Thus, this reflects that the factors that are highly important for carbon accounting information disclosure among the ASEAN countries are governance, industry characteristics, organizational efficiency, the scale of operations, and transparency level. The qualitative study can also be incorporated to gain deep insights into the factors that are influencing CAID. Other than that, a similar approach can be undertaken among other countries such as BRIC or Middle Eastern countries.

Abstract

Every organization needs an accounting information system that has been planned and monitored properly to control the incoming and outgoing finances. By the accounting information system, organization is able to achieve the objectives of the organization. Internal control of a company is a process that is not easy to do. In controlling, a manager needs a lot of information from the company. Accounting information system is one way to obtain information needed in the control process. Internal control is also part of the evaluation carried out to control the implementation of company activities. The main purpose of internal control is to secure assets that are owned, examine the accuracy of accounting, managerial, and operational data. Internal control also aims to prevent accidental or unwanted things in the company. In the internal control process, decision making is also carried out. An information that has been reviewed by top management in the control process can be used as a reference in making policies or decisions.

Abstract

The use of information technology is a strategic activity on achieving organisational goals. For public organisations, especially government institutions, governance systems, good information not only intended for internal use, but it has a requirement to present information that is accountable to the public quickly. The effectiveness of the use of information technology in organisations is to ensure sustainability of the progressive use of information technology. This study aims to explain the various factors that affect the executive's involvement in the use of progressive information technology in the public sector. The variables of study include executive participation, organisational conditions, background executive, executive involvement and progressive use of information technology. The study was conducted on 295 employees on 23 institutions on Banyumas. The sampling method uses purposive sampling. Data analysis using SPSS and PLS.

Abstract

The integration of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) has become imperative for modern businesses seeking to enhance operational efficiency, risk management, and financial transparency. This study employs a qualitative approach with case studies to examine the impact of AIS implementation on business sustainability. Data collection methods include structured interviews, direct observations, and document analysis, with content analysis techniques applied for interpretation. Findings indicate that optimal AIS utilization streamlines accounting processes, minimizes errors, and improves financial reporting accuracy. Additionally, AIS plays a crucial role in mitigating financial and operational risks through real-time data analysis and strengthened internal controls. The study underscores the managerial importance of aligning AIS with business strategy and investing in workforce training to maximize its benefits. These insights contribute to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence on AIS's role in sustainable business practices and proposing future research directions on its long-term effectiveness across various industries.

Abstract

Listening comprehension merupakan salah satu bagian ketrampilan penguasaan Bahasa Inggris yang harus dipertimbangkan keberadaanya terutama bagi pembelajaran penguasaan Bahasa Inggris pada prodi pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Listening comprehension mempunyai peranan yang penting untuk penguasaan Bahasa Inggris. Pada pembelajaran mata kuliah listening comprehension 1 terdapat temuan permasalahan yang dihadapi mahasiswa yang berasal dari beberapa sekolah lanjutan yang berbeda. Diantara permasalahan tersebut adalah banyak dari mahasiswa yang mempunyai kosa kata yang masih lemah, kurangnya kemampuan untuk memahami cara pengucapan dan aksen kosa kata, serta sulit mengidentifikasi informasi atau pesan utama dan beberapa informasi yang berkaitan dengan topik materi yang mereka dengarkan. Hal tersebut menyebabkan prestasi tes listening comprehension masih rendah. Judul Penelitian ini adalah Implementasi Information Transfer Technique Untuk Meningkatkan Listening Comprehension. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan Information Transfer Technique pada peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memahami materi listening comprehension. Peneliti memilih tehnik ini karena dalam kegiatan pembelajaran ini adanya bentuk transfer informasi yang mereka dengarkan ke dalam bentuk informasi yang berbeda dan sederhana dalam bentuk tulisan dengan melengkapi beberapa informasi yang tertera dalam tabel. Kegiatan meliputi tiga langkah antara lain pre-listening, whilts-listening dan post-listening Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas. PTK tersebut dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 pertemuan dengan diberikan perlakuan.Setiap Siklus diadakan refleksi dari hasil observasi implementasi perlakuan tersebut untuk mengetahui kemajuan dan permasalahan yang masih timbul. Selanjutnya perbaikan dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang timbul dalam siklus sebelumnya sehingga target keberhasilan dapat tercapai. Kriteria untuk menentukan bahwa penelitian dianggap berhasil, ketika 80% dari jumlah mahasiswa bisa memperoleh nilai lebih dari atau sama dengan 70 dan nilai rata-rata mahasiswa minmal 80. Pengumpulkan data dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah PTK sebagai berikut : preliminary study, perencanaan, implementasi, observasi dan refleksi.Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program pendidikan bahasa Inggris (angkatan 2015) STKIP PGRI Nganjuk yang terdiri dari 21 mahasiswa dengan mata kuliah listening comprehension III .Pada langkah pre-listening mengimplementasikan Information Transfer Technique dengan memberi penjelasan tujuan dan memberi tugas, menunjukkan model audio dialog atau monolog, brainstorming tentang topik, membentuk kelompok parner diskusi yang terdiri 2 mahasiswa sebelum diskusi kelas, memberi worksheet tabel Information Transfer Technique. Pada whilst-listening, kegiatannya adalah : memutar audio dialog atau monolog sambil mahasiswa mengisi kata-kata atau frase pilihan sesuai petunjuk di tabel, setelah itu berdiskusi dengar parner dan kemudian berdiskusi kelas tentang kata-kata atau frase yang telah diisikan untuk menentukan ide utama topik materi, kemudian memutar audio lagi sambil mengecek kata-kata atau frase dan kemudian berdiskusi untuk menemukan informasi tertentu dan detail serta menyimpulkan, menanyakan ide mahasiswa dan kemudian mengecek dan mendiskusikan jawaban mereka. Post- listening dilaksanakan dengan mereview pada pengucapan, kosa kata, aksen, jenis kata, aturan tata bahasa dan menanyakan feedback mahasiswa serta menyimpulkan setiap pertemuan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Information Transfer Technique dapat meningkatkan listening comprehension mahasiswa.Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dengan bertambahnya nilai listening comprehension dari preliminary study dan nilai setelah implementasi Information Transfer Technique pada pengajaran listening comprehension dalam tiga siklus. Pada preliminary menunjukkan nilai rata-rata yang semula 70 dan 48% mahasiswa memperoleh nilai lebih besar atau sama dengan 70, di siklus 1 sebanyak 52 % mahasiswa dengan nilai rata-rata 74, di siklus 2 sebanyak 71 % mahasiswa dengan nilai rata-rata 77 dan di siklus 3 sebanyak 86% mahasiswa dengan nilai rata-rata 82. Kenyataan ini ini menunjukkan bahwa kriteria keberhasilan tercapai. Selain peningkatan nilai mahasiswa dalam listening comprehnesnion, hasil ini juga menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mempunyai respon positif dan mereka terlibat dalam pembelajaran listening comprehension melalui Information Transfer Technique. Sebagai saran pada pengampu listening comprehension Bahasa Inggris untuk mengimplentasikan Information Transfer Technique. Teknik ini dapat digunakan pada kegiatan intensive dan ekstensive listening comprehension untuk memahami pesan yang mereka dengarkan. Pengampu listening comprehension seharusnya menyiapkan materi sesuai dengan tingkat dan karakteristik pembelajar karena hal tersebut dapat memotivasi dan menambah prestasi listening comprehension.Information Transfer Technique terbukti efektif dengan kelebihan bahwa berdasarkan transfer informasi sederhana sebagai petunjuk pemahaman topik materi pada ide utama, informasi tertentu dan informasi rinci. Dari hasil penelitian dapat membantu mahasiswa mengatasi permasalahan pada listening comprehension dan meningkatkan prestasi listening comprehension mereka dan memberikan bekal pengetahuan teknik tersebut serta melalui jurnal ilmiah sebagai referensi pengayaan model pembelajaran yang dapat menjawab permasalahan yang muncul pada pembelajaran listening comprehension dan menjadi kajian pengembangan model pembelajaran penelitian berikutnya.

Abstract

This paper critically analyzes Indonesia's legal and ethical framework for privacy and data security amid rapid digital transformation, using a juridical-normative approach and case studies to evaluate the effectiveness of Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (PDP Law) in addressing contemporary challenges. The research addresses a significant paradox where Indonesia's accelerating digital economic growth and high internet penetration contrast sharply with escalating cyber threats reported by the National Cyber and Encryption Agency (BSSN) and increasing large-scale data breach incidents causing public concern. The central research question examines: To what extent is the PDP Law effective in protecting citizens' privacy and data security in Indonesia's digital transformation era, and what are the key legal, technical, and ethical challenges that hinder its optimal implementation? The analysis examines key PDP Law provisions, comparing them with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a global benchmark, while presenting case studies of major data breaches at Tokopedia (2020), BPJS Kesehatan (2021), and the General Elections Commission (2023) to illustrate gaps between regulatory frameworks and practical implementation. The discussion extends to complex ethical dilemmas including state digital surveillance and AI-driven personal data analysis threatening citizens' privacy rights. Findings reveal that while the PDP Law establishes a strong legal foundation and represents a significant milestone, its effectiveness remains limited by weak enforcement, institutional cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and unresolved ethical issues, leading to strategic recommendations for government, organizations, and the public to collectively build a comprehensive, adaptive, and sustainable national data protection ecosystem for future digital challenges.
