Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly increased the use of electronic media in everyday life, making personal data protection an important issue in Indonesia. Personal data contains confidential information that must be protected to ensure individual privacy and security. However, the increasing use of digital platforms has also contributed to a rise in cybercrimes, including data breaches, hacking, identity theft, and misuse of personal information. Therefore, legal protection of personal data is necessary to provide legal certainty and maintain public trust in electronic systems. This study aims to analyze the existence of personal data protection in the digital era through the implementation of Indonesian regulations, particularly the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law). This research uses a normative juridical method with a statutory approach by examining laws and regulations related to personal data protection. Data sources consist of primary legal materials, including legislation, and secondary legal materials obtained from books and previous studies. The results show that the ITE Law provides legal protection for personal data through provisions regulating consent, confidentiality, electronic system management, and sanctions against unauthorized access or misuse of data. However, the implementation of personal data protection remains insufficient due to weak law enforcement and the increasing number of data leakage cases. Therefore, stronger supervision, improved cybersecurity systems, and increased public awareness regarding digital literacy are needed. Effective collaboration between the government, electronic system providers, and society is essential to strengthen personal data protection and ensure a secure digital environment in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) as a digitalization strategy in improving the efficiency of human resources at PT. Tenggara Multi Media Gemilang. This case study was conducted with a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and document analysis to understand the conditions of HR management before and after the implementation of HRIS. The results of the study test whether the implementation of HRIS is able to automate human resource (HR) administrative processes such as employee data management, attendance, payroll, and reporting, thereby reducing manual workload, minimizing data errors, and accelerating the decision-making process at the managerial level. In addition, centralized and real-time integration of human resource data through the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) can increase transparency, information accuracy, and coordination between divisions at PT. Tenggara Multi Media Gemilang. Although there are still challenges in the form of user adaptation and the need to improve human resource (HR) competencies. Thus, the implementation of HRIS at PT. Tenggara Multi Media Gemilang is expected to help its effectiveness as a digitalization strategy that supports increasing efficiency, productivity, and quality of human resource (HR) management.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a Web-Based Vehicle Monitoring and Reporting Information System to support logistics operations at PT. Shopee Express Ngaliyan Branch. The main problem addressed in this research is the manual vehicle monitoring and travel reporting process, which may cause information delays, inaccurate data, and ineffective fleet supervision. This study applies a software engineering approach using the Waterfall system development method, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The system was developed as a web-based platform supported by a MySQL database and integrated with Google Maps API to display vehicle positions in real time. The results show that the developed system assists administrators in monitoring vehicle locations, managing driver and vehicle data, viewing travel histories, and generating operational reports automatically. In addition, drivers are able to update travel status, send location data, input travel reports, and upload delivery evidence through the system. System testing using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Test indicates that the main features operate properly according to user needs. This system contributes to improving operational efficiency, data accuracy, driver performance transparency, and integrated fleet supervision. Therefore, the proposed system can serve as a practical digital solution for supporting logistics management and vehicle monitoring activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in public service units, with a specific focus on the phenomenon of a dual recording system that combines manual methods with simple digital applications such as Microsoft Excel. A qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with financial staff and heads of public service units, non-participant observation, and analysis of financial documents from two government units: a Community Health Center (Puskesmas) and a District Education Office unit. The findings reveal that government units operate in a transitional phase of financial digitalization, adopting a hybrid system due to factors of digital literacy gaps, risk management considerations, cost-benefit analysis, and ingrained bureaucratic work culture. This dual practice enhances control efficiency and accelerates access to financial information, thereby supporting more transparent and accountable reporting. However, it remains vulnerable to risks of data duplication errors, overlooked transactions, and over-reliance on operator integrity. The study elaborates extensively on the daily workflow of the dual system, the motivations behind its persistence, and its nuanced implications. The research concludes that successful AIS implementation in government units requires a phased, context-sensitive approach that integrates technology adoption with human resource capacity building and strengthening of internal controls.

Abstract

The management of facilities and infrastructure at Singosari Private Elementary School currently faces various challenges due to the manual nature of the process. This manual system causes several problems, including difficulties in accurately tracking the condition of assets, slow data retrieval, and the risk of data loss or corruption. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a computerized, web-based facility and infrastructure management information system. The system’s development employs the Waterfall method, which includes the following stages: requirements analysis, system design, code implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is designed to be easily accessible via a web browser, making it convenient for users to manage data from anywhere within the school environment. The result of this research is a functional, web-based information system application that can be implemented to manage facilities and infrastructure at Singosari Private Elementary School.

Abstract

School principal selection is a critical process to ensure educational quality through competent leadership. The Bandung City Education Office initiated the Professional School Principal Selection Information System (SIKASEP) as an online innovation to manage the administrative registration process from candidate training. This article aims to describe the implementation of the SIKASEP application, identify emerging obstacles, and outline resolution efforts. The method used was field observation and active participation during 30 days in the Secretariat Division. Results show that the SIKASEP application facilitated selection for 520 applicants across Kindergarten, Elementary, and Junior High levels. However, technical constraints were found, such as document upload failures due to low digital literacy, incorrect document placement, and network issues. Mitigation efforts included continuous socialization for teachers and periodic system updates to improve user-friendliness. This implementation successfully created a more organized and transparent selection process compared to the previous manual system.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed the way micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) conduct their business activities, particularly in the culinary sector in Semarang City. However, the utilization of e-commerce, digital marketing, and accounting information system applications in business management has not been fully integrated, which may limit the ability of MSMEs to achieve optimal profit growth. This study examined the influence of e-commerce, digital marketing, and business scale on profit growth, while also investigating the mediating role of accounting information system applications. A quantitative approach was applied using survey data collected from 205 MSME owners through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling to evaluate both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The findings indicated that digital marketing and business scale had a positive and significant effect on profit growth, while e-commerce did not show a direct significant effect. In addition, accounting information system applications significantly influenced profit growth and mediated the relationship between e-commerce and business scale with profit growth. These results highlight the importance of integrating digital business strategies with accounting information systems to improve financial performance and support the sustainability of MSMEs.
