Abstract

Information security are becoming an important aspect of organizations. Organisations also are progressively conscious of its important in their business strategy. The awareness make organisations are currently applying for information security management system (ISMS) to effectively manage their information assets. Therefore, this research aims to provide an Information Structure Framework for ISMS planning and certification. Then Likert structured questionnaire was distributed and the findings have been analyzed using Rasch Measurement Model (RMM). The results from this study, managed to develop Information Structure Framework for ISMS. The proposed framework consists of information structure focuses on providing the information outline which is structured in a way, in which the components are put together to form a meaningful structure which can be navigated at any time. The framework contributes to the field of ISMS and certification area. The framework provides an awareness on knowing beforehand what to do and to what extent they are already conquering the information needed for getting clear direction and to develop ISMS.

Abstract

In order to well understand and control the information dissemination in the complex network, Increasing Trust SI model and SIP model have been built to represent the peoples' interaction during information dissemination. By introducing and computing the trust degree of the net nodes, the process of information dissemination can be truly represented following increasing trust rule. Simulation experiments reveal that the informations can be quickly broken out in ER model, NW model and BA model due to the small world characteristic of complex networks. To prevent bad information disseminating, SIP model with "Persuasion" mechanism is presented.  It can be effect when immune nodes with "P" status persuade their neighber disseminator with the truth.  Simulation experiments show that not all nodes in the network will be disseminated and all will lose the trust on the bad information. Exceptionally, the best effection is in BA network with free-scale. The results of this paper can be used for analysis and management of information dissemination on complex networks.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i12.3662

Abstract

In modern conditions, social networking services have become the users’ leading channel of communication, which are called actors. Therefore, social networking services are used by intruders to gain benefits in the information space of virtual communities for further influence on political and social processes in the state. In the article the phenomenological model of information operation in social networking services is developed. The model allows to take into account the processes of development of social networking services through the formation of new relationships between actors and the formation of virtual communities. At the same time, behind the model are the processes of degradation of social networking services that are associated with the dissipation of content. The developed model is used for experimental research of real information operation in social networking services. The obtained results will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of counteracting the threats to information security of the state in social networking services by the relevant departments.

Abstract

In imperfect information problems, board game is a class of special problem that differs from card games like poker. Several characters make it a valuable test bed for opponent modeling, which is one of the most difficult problems in artificial intelligence decision systems. In card games, opponent modeling has proved its importance on improving agents’ strength. In this paper, a method of building opponent models in imperfect information board games is introduced systematically. Formalized evaluation method of arrangement strength in board game in proposed. Risk dominance is suggest as the classified criterion of building opponent models and basing that, classified primary probability tables are built as opponent models. Last, Siguo game is chosen as the application for opponent modeling and shows its advantages in the experiments. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4113

Abstract

In this paper, a robust image watermarking method with S-Hough transformation is proposed which is robust against geometric distortion. This watermarking is detected by a linear frequency change. The chirp signals are used as watermarks and this type of signals is resistant to all stationary filtering methods and exhibits geometrical symmetry. In the two-dimensional Radon-Wigner transformation domain, the chirp signals used as watermarks change only its position in space/spatial-frequency distribution, after applying linear geometrical attack. But the two-dimensional Radon-Wigner transformation needs too much difficult computing. We propose a modified Hough transformation to provide improved energy concentration of the S-transform. The proposed scheme can resolve the time-frequency localization in a better way than the standard S transformation. The watermark is embedded in the 1D improved S transformation domains. The watermark thus generated is invisible and performs well in test and is robust to geometrical attacks. Compared with other watermarking algorithms, this algorithm is more robust, especially against geometric distortion, while having excellent frequency properties DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i2.4412

Abstract

An innate test emerging in any dataset containing data of space as well as time is vulnerability due to different wellsprings of imprecision. Incorporating the effect of the instability is a principal while evaluating the unwavering quality (certainty) of any question result from the hidden information. To bargain with vulnerability, arrangements have been proposed freely in the geo-science and the information science look into group. This interdisciplinary instructional exercise crosses over any barrier between the two groups by giving an exhaustive diagram of the distinctive difficulties required in managing indeterminate geo-spatial information, by looking over arrangements from both research groups, and by distinguishing likenesses, cooperative energies and open research issues.

Abstract

Information integrating in Semantic Concept Networks(SCN) is one of the important operations in these networks. These operations require resource usage. Due to the limited resource of units, the resource productivity should be considered as a key objective in design of Semantic Concept Networks. Therefore the Integrating is a suitable method that used in resource usage management. For this purpose many methods have been proposed. In this paper, the idea of not sending time correlated information of units has been considered by using the sequential function. Also, a model to estimate the remaining resource of units by the base station has been presented. The proposed ideas have been implemented over the LANDING-C protocol. Evaluation results showed that the proposed methods had a better performance in resource usage and the lifetime of the network in comparison with similar methods. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i3.2176

Abstract

Development of an information system is a complex process, which expose to a great number of risks.Hence, the high failure rates long associated with information system projects, despite advances in techniques for information technology development, suggest that organizations need to improve their ability to identify and to manage associated risks. To improve the risk management in information system development projects, a pragmatic procedure is suggested to determine the size of a project's contingency plan budget at any specified level of certainty. Considering the interaction among risk factors, a method based on common risk factors and copula functions is used to model and quantify positive dependence between risks. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i6.5438
